We’ve been on Spring Break for the past few days…and it’s been raining! I’m sure you heard that the midwest was soaked earlier this week. We had constant rain from Monday night to Wednesday morning. And not just a nice light rain either. We’re talking thunder storms and (to quote Forrest Gump) big, fat rain. Roads were flooded, houses were flooded…it was a mess! Thank goodness we didn’t have to go anywhere! And thank goodness we live on the top of a hill!!
Before the rain started on Monday evening, the kids and I went outside to ride bikes and mess around. I’m happy to report that my daffodils are blooming!

~Michael’s finally home from Arkansas and so far there aren't any plans for him to go back down there!! YAY!!!
~I wish we had a DSL line or at least cable internet cuz it takes forever to upload photos here! Satellite’s not all it’s cracked up to be!!

Funny. She’ll happily let Connor do her bidding, but doesn’t want him “making a mess” in her room (which is always messy anyway!!)~Geordie curled up on Kylie’s bed:
~Poor Connor's got a cold and is coughing like crazy. Took him to the doctor yesterday and got some meds to help him sleep. Funny thing was, when we were leaving, C had a fit because he wanted to stay with Dr. T. He was crying and falling down on the floor. I was just laughing and so was everyone else in the office. I guess it's a good thing both kids love their pediatrician! Oh, and Connor's feeling much better today! Except he's still coughing...UGH!Ok, so I think that's it for now. Michael's working 1/2 day today and my mom's gonna be here today too! I'm hoping the weather holds up so we can either go to the zoo or Rutledge-Wilson Farm and see the animals!!
